About
Cambria Krovic, Founder & President
Cambria founded Visionaire Managed Care Consulting, LLC because she knows how crucially important skilled and effective managed care contract negotiations are for sustaining and improving business operations in the ophthalmology and optometry communities.
She has a combined 20 years of experience in the eye care business, including eight years as Controller of an ASC, and brings a dynamic understanding to the way contracts are the heart of running a business. Her combined ASC / private practice work experience is responsible for her hands-on perspective on how the two must function together to achieve the best outcomes and economic efficiencies. She rolls together case costing, medical policy review, and analytics to create custom approaches to contracting.
Cambria’s journey began in 2005 as a high school intern with the Pennsylvania Optometric Association (POA.) She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University in 2011. She volunteers for POA’s Third Party Center Committee and assists in providing free eye exams to her local community. She has also been a Notary since 2018.
Achievements
Cambria’s foundation in accounting has led to considerable successes in managing business operations. Her achievements include reducing OAS-CAHPS costs and outstanding uncollectible accounts, obtaining additional reimbursements from Medicare Risk Adjustment Reviews, and overseeing software improvements for increased staff production and ASC benchmarking.
